The Authors

Frederik Ramm and Jochen Topf have been working in the IT business for over ten years. Since 2006 they are active contributors to the OpenStreetMap project and they also work professionally in the field of neogeography.

Frederik Ramm, born in 1972, runs Geofabrik GmbH in Karlsruhe, Germany. Among other things his company offers services around OpenStreetMap and free geodata.

Jochen Topf, born in 1970, works as a freelance software developer, consultant, and author specializing in Internet technologies.
